MBK Sacramento Strategy Teams

Background

MBK Sacramento Collaborative Strategy Teams take an active role in informing, expanding and implementing key strategies and areas of opportunity to achieve the Collaborative’s strategic objectives. Through collaboration and coordinating efforts across organizations, Strategy Team members are instrumental in dismantling siloed efforts for a more collective, citywide approach toward improving outcomes for youth.

Members

MBK Sacramento Strategy Team members represent diverse organizations engaged in ongoing services and/or programming for youth. This may include practitioners in any of the following related fields: mental health services, health professionals, community educators, violence, and/or alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention services, social service providers, employment specialists, community-based organizations and others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilize community resources and coordinate actions to carry out strategic objectives
  • Provide recommendations to inform efforts of the Steering Committee
  • Convene bi-monthly to share data from the field, communicate progress and coordinate efforts
  • Assist with communication efforts to further expand the work of the Collaborative
